Our doulas provide personalized services no matter where you are — that includes virtually! Chicago Birthworks Collective can accommodate you if you need your birth package services to be exclusively virtual. They can offer well-documented prenatal and postpartum check-ins via phone or video calls, support you through labor via text messages, phone calls, and video chats and provide online education, including lactation consultations.

What are the benefits of a virtual doula?

Having a virtual doula offers the same benefits as an in-person doula, no matter where you live! While we are based in Chicago, we are thrilled to be able to reach Black women preparing for birth all over the country because we know how important it is to have someone in your corner who understands the unique struggles we face. In the age of COVID-19, virtual doulas are an excellent option for hospitals or birthing centers with restricted policies around labor teams.
